GEAR is hosting our annual Back-to-School S’mores Event!! We decided to rename it as it was more about s’mores and fun than actual picnicking!
Date: Friday, Oct 6, 2023
Time: 5:00pm until Dark
Location: Montgomery Park Shelter
We will be hosting a variety of activities such as:
- Give your visual-spatial skills a workout with:
- balloon art: make a butterfly, sword, or abstract piece
- Make your mark with sidewalk chalk
- Bust a move with a bubble dance area
- Get your Game on with a selection of various board games available for play
- Chess, Checkers, uno — just to name a few!
- Watch an irreversible chemical change as you toast marshmallows for your S’mores
S’mores! Come roast your own marshmallow in the fireplace and make your own dessert! - Play on the playground while meeting new friends
- Ask questions and share your expertise with other Sycamore families
- Learn more about the changes in Gifted Education at Sycamore
- And more!
This is a free event open to all Sycamore families. Come meet other families and learn more about our organization and how we help support Sycamore families.
