The school year is about to begin, so let’s start it off right with
GEAR’s Family Trivia Night and Currito Fundraiser!
Monday, Aug. 21 at 6-8 pm at the Blue Ash Nature Park Shelter, 4337 Cooper Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
It’s that time of year again as summer winds slowly to an end, it’s time to start thinking about the upcoming school year! Last year we had a great turnout and lots of fun doing our Family Trivia Night and so here we are again, 365 days later, and hosting it again! It will be formatted much like last year, with lots of random categories that are usually not taught in school. We intentionally design the questions so that everyone can get involved, from the youngest Aviator to those of us who were born in the last millennia! It’s all about having fun!
We’ve also teamed back up with Blue Ash Currito who will be sharing 20% of the proceeds from purchases throughout our event. These sorts of passive fundraisers allow us to provide free events like this one without constantly hounding you to buy or sell cookies, candles, or other typical fundraising activities. Even if you are unable to attend the trivia event, any purchases you make that day will still benefit us. If you’re not sure what to get, my usual order is the Mediterranean bowl and a Berry Blend smoothie–substitute apple juice for the almond milk. It is quite delish!
While you don’t have to be a GEAR member or even be receiving gifted services, we do recommend that you keep your GEAR membership up to date. I will be sending an email to everyone whose accounts are expired or nearing expiration in August, so you’ll know your membership status.
