Sycamore GEAR, Gifted Education Advocacy and Resources, is a volunteer parent organization that focuses on Gifted Education in the Sycamore Community Schools. Unlike Parent Teacher Organizations, we receive NO funding or support from the district which allows us to be a proper advocacy group. We are affiliated with the Ohio Association for Gifted Children and do our best to stay abreast of the Ohio Department of Education’s constantly shifting specifications regarding Gifted Education. We know that the district has many foci and Gifted Education is but a small point on their map, but we will advocate so that Gifted Children’s needs are met and not overlooked. This form signs you up for communications from us that may range from Upcoming Events to anything related to Gifted Education in our schools.
